The PGLS Cares Nairobi team volunteered to distribute sacrificial meat to underserved communities in line with the Islamic tradition of Qurbani, ensuring that at least one-third of the meat reached vulnerable families. This effort reflects our deep commitment to community engagement and giving back to the communities we live and work in. We are proud of our team’s participation in this act of compassion and sharing.

About the Initiative:

• Practiced the Islamic tradition of Qurbani (sacrifice of goats, sheep, cows or camels).

• Ensured at least 1/3 of meat reached vulnerable families.

• Supported HDF-Kenya’s ambitious 24-hour target to serve 700 families.
